Student exchange: a government priority
Speech by Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs

Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs gave a speech before the Counsellor of Cooperation and Cultural Action to highlight the importance of student exchange. According to the Minister: "first of all, it's a challenge for attractiveness, and we need to reinvest in the offers of scholarships. I presented this objective to the Prime Minister, who decided to include it in his general policy statement." JY Le Drian asks to do more in order to help "France catch up, since the country is now fourth in terms of international students’ intake".

JY Le Drian gave a speech on July 17 in Paris during the meeting of all French players of the network of cooperation and cultural action present in the world.
