The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development addressed an audience of Alumni, students and professors and academic staff in the Alliance Française in Bangalore on January 9, 2017. He reminded the objective to attract even more Indian students in France: "In 2016, there was 4,000 Indian students in France. This figure may seem low, we started from scratch: it's 50 times higher than 20 years ago. Honestly, this figure is severely insufficient in regards of the quality that our two countries maintain".

The Minister also presided the conclusion of a cooperation agreement between Studialis and INurture.
